Disse generelle bruksvilkårene regulerer tilgangen til og bruken av nettstedet Pickadest. Pickadest hjelper deg å velge reisemål og forbereder flysøket, som startes på selgerens nettsted. Pickadest selger ikke flybilletter og er ikke part i transportavtalen.

These terms govern the use of the Pickadest website, available at pickadest.com. Using the Site constitutes acceptance of these terms. A User who does not accept them must stop using the Site. Pickadest may amend these terms at any time. The version that applies is the one published at the time of consultation.

• Pickadest: the company publishing the Site, whose details appear under « Contact ». • User: any person consulting or using the Site. • Seller: the third party with whom the User concludes a contract of carriage, where applicable — currently Kiwi.com s.r.o. • Site: pickadest.com and all of its pages.

Pickadest is a travel destination discovery engine. Pickadest sells nothing: no flight, no accommodation, no activity. The Site scores destinations month by month on climate and practical criteria, then directs the User to partner merchants who display prices, take the booking and receive payment. Pickadest is neither a travel agency, nor a carrier, nor an accommodation provider. No travel contract is concluded on the Site.

The Site offers a catalogue of destinations scored month by month, together with links to partner merchants. That catalogue is not exhaustive: it covers neither every destination in the world, nor every flight, stay or activity available. The offers reachable from the Site are those of the partners listed under "Remuneration", and other sellers offer options that do not appear there.

The ranking applies to DESTINATIONS, not to commercial offers. Each destination is scored, for every month of the year, on climate and practical criteria — temperature, rainfall, sea temperature, tourist density — weighted differently according to the theme chosen by the User: heat that suits a beach holiday does not suit sightseeing in a city. This ranking is established by Pickadest alone. No payment and no consideration of any kind influences it: no destination, no tourist board and no merchant partner can buy a better position. Pickadest establishes NO ranking of flights, accommodation or activities. The Site displays neither their prices nor their order: those belong entirely to the partners the User is directed to, and the User is invited to consult their own ranking rules.

The Site is free for the User. Pickadest charges no commission, no booking fee and no surcharge. Pickadest is paid through affiliation: when a booking is made with a partner following a redirection from the Site, that partner pays Pickadest a percentage of the sale. This has no effect on the price paid by the User. Current partners are: • Kiwi.com for flights; • Hotels.com and Expedia, companies of the Expedia group, for accommodation; • GetYourGuide for tours and activities. This list may change. Links to these partners are marked as such, and the User is told they are leaving the Site before doing so.

The Site is freely accessible and requires no account. The User undertakes not to disrupt its operation, in particular through mass automated requests, systematic extraction of the data displayed, or any attempt to circumvent security measures. Pickadest may restrict access in the event of manifestly abusive use.

The Site displays no prices, times or conditions for flights, accommodation or activities. When the User enters dates, an airport or a number of travellers on the Site, that information only prepares the search the partner will run. It constitutes neither a booking, nor an option, nor any commitment. Only the price, availability and conditions shown by the partner at the time of payment are binding. Pickadest has access to no booking file and cannot act on schedules, changes or refunds.

Pickadest provides an information service. It cannot be held liable for: • performance of the contract of carriage, which is a matter for the Seller and the airline; • delays, cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding or lost baggage; • the accuracy of prices, availability and conditions reported by the Seller; • the policies, practices and content of third-party sites to which the Site redirects; • a temporary interruption of the Site, in particular for maintenance. Pickadest remains liable for its own failures, under ordinary law.

Any complaint about a booking, refund, cancellation or travel incident must be addressed to the Seller, the User's only counterparty. Pickadest has access to no booking file and cannot intervene. For any question about the Site itself, the User may write to contact@pickadest.com.

Pickadest holds the intellectual property rights relating to the Site, its structure, its texts, its visuals and its climate and tourist scoring data. Access to the Site confers no intellectual property right. Any reproduction or extraction, total or substantial, is prohibited without prior written authorisation. The Site's databases are protected by the database producer's right provided for in Articles L341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. Pursuant to Article L122-5-3 of the same code, Pickadest further expressly objects to any text and data mining of the Site's content, including for the training of artificial intelligence models. Third-party trademarks, logos and names mentioned on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed for identification purposes only.

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, available from the footer of the Site.

Neither party may be held liable for a failure resulting from force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the User may use a consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
